Designed for the French Embassy in Washington D.C. by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the Washington lamp provides balance. With an adjustable diffuser, the lamp allows its user to adapt the amount of light required for different settings. Made from brass and metal, the lamp’s balance comes from its pivoting upper body, which rests on the structural cylinder through a ball joint.
