PAIR OF “GE 50” BIG WALL LAMPS
CHRISTOPHE GEVERS PAIR OF “GE 50” BIG WALL LAMPS BELGIUM - 1975
The lamps are a creation of Christophe Gevers, a renowned Belgian interior architect. What makes Christophe Gevers’s furniture special is that it embraces the wear and tear of time. He worked on numerous private residences in Belgium and France, as well as several restaurants, such as the fashionable Canterbury restaurant in Brussels (1992). Among other projects, he designed the Vieux Saint Martin brasserie (1968) at the Grand Sablon in Brussels for his friend Albert Niels. The lamps were designed in 1975.
