Sculptural table lamp by Italian artist Gianni Pinna, featuring a hand-carved wooden base with bold, abstract forms.

Born in Sardinia in 1934, Gianni Pinna was an Italian sculptor whose work explored the relationship between art, craftsmanship and functional design. His creations are characterised by organic shapes, geometric volumes and a distinctive approach to wood carving.

This table lamp reflects his artistic vision, transforming a functional object into a sculptural piece. The rich, dark tones and expressive forms of the wooden base contrast elegantly with the simplicity of the cylindrical lampshade, creating a harmonious balance between art and design.
