PAIR OF BAR STOOLS
CHRISTOPHE GEVERS PAIR OF BAR STOOLS BELGIUM - 1960’S
Barstools created in 1958 by Christophe Gevers for the restaurant Cap D’Argent in Brussels, situated next to the Musée des Beaux-Arts.
Christophe Gevers was a renowned Belgian interior architect. He worked on numerous private homes in Belgium and France, some restaurants, like the fashionable Canterbury restaurant in Brussels (1992). What makes the furniture remarkable is the way it embraces the natural wear and patina of time.
