Lounge armchair by Alain Gaubert from the 1960s, accompanied by its matching ottoman. The piece features a solid elm structure, defined by thick sections and a strong architectural presence. Slightly softened edges temper the overall rigidity of the form.
The seat and backrest have been fully reupholstered in a deep burgundy velvet, bringing warmth and contrast to the wood. The back is supported by visible leather straps, while the upper part extends into an integrated headrest.
