Carlo Hauner was a key figure in Brazilian furniture design, co-founding the company Mobilia in the 1950s. His designs blended modernist principles with Brazilian craftsmanship, using native woods and materials. Hauner’s furniture was known for its bold, organic forms and contributed to the development of Brazilian modern design.
