Designed in Sweden, in the 1960’s by Hans-Agne Jakobsson the V-155 creates a game of shadows and lights characteristic of his designs. With a series of spaced horizontal brass bands around a brass cylinder, the light is softened and directed. That approach is reflected on Jackobsson’s lighting designs, where the layered elements together with the control of light/shadow give the pieces a structural and sculptural composition.
