Edward Wormley was an American designer of modern furniture. In 1926, he briefly studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, but had to leave after three terms due to financial issues. In 1931 when he joined Dunbar Furniture, he quickly became one of the company’s leading designers and helped shape its modern aesthetic.
These wooden & leather armchairs, designed in 1957 were edited by Dunbar in the USA and distributed in Europe by Mobilier Universel directed by Jules Wabbes.
